Habitat comments: "The fossils were unearthed from a main layer of reddish and brownish clay or sandy clay with a thickness of 5–7 m and with a sandwiched layer of grayish silt"
the formation is "a series of fluvial-lacustrine deposits" but the paleoenvironment is not discussed any further
