Each station was occupied by four live-traps: one Sherman (22.9 cm × 8.9 cm × 7.6 cm) and one Tomahawk trap (40.6 cm × 12.7 cm × 12.7 cm) were placed on the ground within 1 m of each other, and one Sherman and one Tomahawk trap were tied with wire above ground to lianas, trees, or logs as nearly above the ground-based traps as possible... Traps were set for 10 consecutive nights... Each trap was baited with cut ripe plantain mixed with peanut butter and bird seed"
