Substrate: ground surface

WMT: 23.9

CMT: -0.4

MAP: 1074.0

Habitat comments: "natural vegetation... with low (largely dune) vegetation seaward, and scattered native Pitch Pine (Pinus rigida Miller) groves alternating with mixed native deciduous shrub thickets (Myrica– Rhus–Ilex) bayward"
climate data based on statino 72504 (Stratford airport)

Methods
Life forms: birds

Sites: 2

Sampling methods: mist nets

Sample size: 482 individuals

Years: 1997 - 1999

Sampling comments: one site was in a pitch pine grove and the other in a shrub thicket
counts are only of birds recaptured within four days, so there may be an IQ effect
"Up to 14 nylon mist nets, 12 m long, 3 m high, with four shelves and 36-mm mesh" were used in the pine site and "a single bay-to-ocean net lane" with "up to 16 nets" in the scrub site but sampling effort is vaguely indicated and irrelevant given that only recaptures are reported
