Sampling comments: "Two locations were sampled in each river, separated by 500 to 1000 m, with each sampling location covering about 50 m linear... adults were collected with entomological nets and packed live into rectangular envelopes (12 x 8 cm) of thin paper... The immatures were collected with a metal sieve with 30 cm diameter mesh and 5 mm openings. Immature samplings were standardized by set of 20 sieved samples"
