The smaller rodents and shrews were captured using pitfall traps placed along the trap lines to each trapping site in the mountain. The pitfall traps (n=21) were made of 10-l plastic buckets (250 mm high=220 mm rim) and were arranged 5 m apart, in a pitfall line" (reported trap night count is not consistent with the text)
