Geography comments: The Olba locality is situated in the Sarrion Depression on the road between the towns of Olba and La Escaleruela, eastern Spain
The Olba fauna can be dated to "early-middle Turolian", Late Miocene, based on faunal similarities with sites of Crevillente 2 and Los Mansuetos (reference localities of MN11 and MN12 respectively)
