Habitat comments: "Tasbas extends over three natural terraces (70 × 20 m) that wrap along a tributary river. Historic period burials rest on the upper terrace; a multi-phase campsite occupies the middle terrace; and Late Bronze Age burials span the lower terrace".
"Phase 2b represents the Late-Final Bronze Age transition at Tasbas. The cultural deposits of Phase 2b contain carbon-rich activity areas with low architectural investment overall. Palimpsests of thin organic deposits and material artifacts lack associated walls or foundations, yet it is possible that parts of the stone foundations from Phase 2a were reused. Ground stone mortars and decorated and plain potsherds from this layer showed little distinction from the Phase 2a deposits".
