Sampling comments: "As coletas foram realizadas mensalmente, no período de novembro de 2001 a abril de 2002, e tiveram duraçäo de 2h, sendo realizadas entre 10:00h e 13:00h... Para a atraçäo dos machos foram utilizadas iscas-odores de três essências químicas: eucaliptol, eugenol e vanilina, as quais têm se mostrado eficientes na atraçäo de machos euglossíneos... As iscas, feitas de chumaços de papel absorvente embebidos em uma daquelas três essências, ficavam dispostas á sombra, presas á vegetaçäo, a 1,5 m do solo, e distantes cerca de 3 m uma da outra... por serem de difícil identificaçäo no campo, foram coletados com rede entomológica e armazenados individualmente em frascos plâsticos com etiquetas"
