there are uncalibrated radiocarbon dates of 8970 +/- 30, 9240 +/- 30, and 9140 +/- 30 y BP on nutshell (Canarium sp.), but only the 8970 date is directly associated with the bones

Habitat comments: from a 2 m thick sequence, but the "bones" are from a single layer "at 0.7-0.8 m depth containing stone artefacts, bones and nutshell"
the lithology is apparently "grey-brown red clay with numerous snail shells"
there are "268 lithic artefacts... of the Hoabinhian culture"
the bones are "considerably fragmented" as "the result of human (consumers') activity" with some "subject to heat treatment - roasting over fire"
