Don't enter the genus name if the species originally was combined in a subgenus.
 Example: enter "Scalites tropidophora" instead of "Pleurotomaria (Scalites) tropidophora."
To find species without using genus names, you may use the wildcard %.
 Example: "% validus" would match Belodon validus, Troodon validus, etc.
